Can't purchase teleport?

Well, I have more than money to purchase the Teleport magic spell, but every time I go to the right shelf of the right bookcase, my character says "It seems the new magic books aren't in yet." Isn't Teleport there from the beginning? :\

You get the teleport when you enter Carmite cave for the first time from mist.

Yes, you are probably going to the wrong bookcase. It is the bookshelf on the back wall closest to the stairs. (right-right). It is there for sale in the English version at the beginning (2000 G)

Each square of the bookshelf has different books. Teleport IS on the far right bookshelf...but if you're looking on the left side of that bookshelf, you won't find it. It's on the right side of that bookshelf.
