I have a question about making rp in the caves...
I read on the sight that you can plant a crop (regrowable ones are prefered), wait for it to mature, and then you get the rp right? Does that mean you don't need to water it and can just run past it every morning to get rp? or does it wither and die without water for a while?

no you still need to water it and if you don't no more rp. what I do is just water the crop that produces the rp. saves you water

if you keep the crops and dont picked it up
then you dont need to water it anymore
they wont die

and the place where RP will shows up is kinda random, actually
every mature crops can give RP,
most of my crops give 3 RP ball for every 9 mature crops
and most of them spawned in the most right part of crops, but it can shows up in another place too, of course

so you cant just think, oh this is the crop that produces RP, ill just water it and leave the rest
it might be wont give you any RP at all in the next time

3 RP balls for every 9 crops?

As all of us will get 1 ball, are your crops leveled up? Or was that just a typo?

On the subject of RP balls, it annoys me that after being in the area with the ball, once you leave, it will dissapear.

its usually my strawberries (and sometime sweet potatoes), but i doubt level do anything at all, but theyre in lvl 10 anyway

there are 2 fields of strawberry that give me 3 RP for each field now in my farm,
and.....most of my fields are strawberries, actually (im currently in spring)
hmm.....i dont know, maybe its just a coincidence?
or another possible things, i missed something to count, like another fields

and like you all, of course its more often get 1 RP
geez maybe just because im in spring then that i didnt thought back when i was in summer and fall

Hmmmm, the rune orbs will combine on adjacent fields, but I haven't noticed them combining from far away. I just planted and harvested one level 10 strawberry field, and got 1 orb. But then I don't have a whole field full of them yet, so I don't know, maybe.

Ok, I've my little Turnips set up in the first cave near the entrance to recharge from my daily chores.

Like that. After they grew into mature turnips ready to pick, I stopped watering them. I get one orb from each set of nine per day. The four orbs are enough to recharge my RP completely, so it's real nice. Meaning it has to be giving me ~25 for each little 'field' of turnips.

No, once they're mature, you don't have to water them anymore. Ever. Leave them be and let them make nice RP for you.
