I find that it's awesome to actually be a good looking protagonist (i'm a girl by the way). Jack has always annoyed me...overalls and triangular hair coming out of his hat at an awkward angle... It's nice to look good so it makes sense that the girls take notice of you.

He does indeed look better than the previous versions. Though its not really the same person as the other games, as this takes place in a fantasy, uh, place?
