Anyone have any tips on finishing it in 20mins or under? I've tried teleporting home and out of the cave but i still cant get under 40.

You have to get it before you talk to Godwin. i think it says that on the page? but yeah =/ i suggest get the bottle first before the other things! unless youre in a hurry to upgrade your house

i tried being sneaky lyk get the book b4 talking to godwin but it doesnt work so im trying to save the book for next year or a new game or sumthing either way, the only possible way to get it under 20 min is to maybe get help or the magicaly stop the game running time or sumthin.

I've tried that, when i go to search the area the book is hidden in i get a msg saying ""Thats's strange. It seems like like something should be here..."

How do you teleport home? Is there a spellbook I'm missing?

Yeah you can guy a book from the library that lets you teleport home from anywhere outside a cave.

Since I wanted the bottle and not the wood I did not bother to try to get the book in less than 20 minutes. But One day that I was in the cave I tried to go top the place where its hidden and pick it up and it just said "It feels like there should be something here" or something like that. I am guessing the only wayto get it in less than 20 minutes it to go treasure hunting first year and take the book but instead of giving it to Godwin just stash it in your shelf and next year start treasure hunting again and when he asks for the book just go to your house and get it from the shelf.

So that meanst that you first must find someone that doesn't need his treasure hunt book and is willing to give it to you.

yea that tru i could give you mine maybe since lyk theres almost no reason for money and wood after house and huts

Actually after house and huts there is not almost no reason for wood. There is just NO reason for it since you can't use wood anymore and by that time you will be stinking millionaire.
