In the Japanese game where the mailbox actually had a function, you'd get chocolate from the special girls on Thanksgiving, a letter relating to your farm degree name, as well as other things. It worked like the FoMT mailbox.

Yes I know, Im just upset that it doesnt work in DS. Thought it would be nice to know if I had a last name, get chocolate from the girls, things like that. I hate you Natsume, even though I love the games.

What? You don't get chocolate at all in the westernised versions? I thought they put it in your rucksack (somehow) instead... well, that's a shame. A bit part in the wooing system that doesn't work

Dammit Natsume need better quality control. I mean, at least the games are good, but the localisation glitches are kinda silly.

Yes, as I stated in other topics, Natsume must be the easiest job in the world. Come in, lay around, possibly *gasp!* get some form of "work" done, and sleep. You don't have enough game yet? Push back the release date! The fans will understand! Because we here at Natsume "Serious « Puppy Doodoo »..wait! Fun.." treat our customers with respect *giggle*. They know that we are working hard to give them a glitchy game that they will buy anyway, then be forced to rebuy when the glitches corrupt!

At least Natsume aren't Sonic Team, spend a month or two on a game, push it out, spend lots of money on fancy cut scenes & lame voice actors, & then leave the game almost unplayable. Compared to Sonic Team, Natsume are the greatest game makers ever. Their games are always so much fun even if their quality control isn't so good (still prolly better than Sonic Team's)

Yeah. Watched a review of Sonic on 360 on X-play, looked absolutely horrible.

That's the exact game I had in mind while typing that post, the new Sonic Riders on Wii & PS2 looks like a PS1 game aswell, & it's bound to be fundamentally worse than the original.

In an effort to get back on topic, Natsume are good at what they do. Infact, the typos & grammar mistakes they make in the games sometimes are one of the reasons I love them. Still, some of these glitches, like the mailbox, HG & WP glitches for example, are really annoying. (especially in the first westernised versions)

Ummmmm..........

You still get the chocolates on the thanksgiving festival ( other than the special girls from FoMT). The only difference is instead of getting them in the mailbox, you actually get them from the girls which in my opinion is better. Getting them in person means they obviously like you more than just sending them in the mail.

Agreed with SuperLink too. I watch lots of spoofs on youtube of the crappy CD-I gmaes, and Sonic 360 is in a lot. They think they can addshiny graphics, a "improved" storyline where Sonic dies and is *big surprise* brought back to life, to star in another game? If I'm correct, they deleted the chao raising system from S360, which was the only reson I played.

Yeah, & want them to bring back Chao Garden to Sonic games. Sonic 360 lost so much of what was promised for it because they pushed it out. It shouldn't have gotten through quality control.

& Sonic Genesis on GBA... *sigh*

Oh, well I havn't had a girl who liked me on Thanksgiving yet, but yeah, I agree that that's a lot better too. So that's kind of a relief.

No, you get a last name once you have a high enough level. I've never been able to, though.
