Its the 2nd day of winter and im level 52. I cant use wifi so i have no way to level up my weapons so does anyone have tips on how i can beat the boss in that cave? i'd like to get it done before winter ends so i dont have to wait a whole year to try again.

Basically just level up, I am sure you can hit level 70ish when you are at the end of winter.
Then you can beat the boss easily.

you can
1. level your character ( I figure you can level 2 or 3 levels per day if you go all day.. I always worked the food > heal magic combo to keep myself going)
2. level your forging skill ( this can go really fast.. I think I raised 30 or 40 levels in a couple days using the stuff I got from mining. )
if you use your time effectively you really should have too much of a problem getting powerful enough to storm through misty bloom.

NOTE: lvling up your weapons will NOT make them stronger. just stand around and swing your sword, you'll gain Swordsman exp, but you should just train. since the element « Puppy Doodoo » in this game are outta whack, it's not simple "fire>earth>wind>water>fire"
or maybe it is...

just kill everything with a star saber, they own.
