Yes, I realize like nobody goes on this forum because not many people have the game, but can somebody tell me why I can't catch this fish? It's driving me crazy, I just need this one and the carp and I have all the fish. There HAS to be some extra requirement or something.

Maybe you could try to PM Cher. She seems to know everything there is to know about these games.

That is correct. If someone else has the same problem it will be available in the public viewing forum and not hidden in a private message.
The Itou is in the 1st area (fish by the bridge leading towards the woods) and is only available in spring, summer, and fall. That is it.
The Carp/Koi isn't available until the rest of the Kings are caught.
