Wrong forum, this is for Harvest Moon: Island. But to level up you have to fight monsters.

Last time I checked, this was Rune Factory... but anyway, I have a good technique. Go to a machine and wait for a monster to come out. Then fight it until its sent back... another monster pops out. Keep fighting until you level up or you're sick of it.
