Well, I don't think Julia and Vaults are paired for the fact that the games hints at a family relationship between them.

Plus, Eric and Caffiena wouldn't make a good couple. They are both too shy and reserved for that to work.

I'm pretty sure they were made for each other at first because some early art showed Julia working while Valuts watched her. Then they were made cousins and the relationship must have been dropped.

Eric + Julia : The nerd and the hawt girl/ RickXKaren
Danni + Lily : The first and ditsy girl/ KaiXPopuri
