I think, but you have to have an upgraded axe.... a high level one.

All I know is that it will take around 4 full chagerge with mysterile.

You can chop down your trees. Not sure what the requirement is, but i had a mystrile axe.
I did it once because a peach tree was in the way of where I wanted to build leia's pond.

Mine Peach Tree was in the middle of the divisor to the chickens/ducks and cows/sheeps/horse.
