Mark n' Chelsea~

Are they even worth going after?
X3
Before I even began pursuing Mark as a suitor I was fully aware of the fact that he didn't like anything in particular. But I was all pumped and ready to marry him. So he finally comes to the village around Fall of year 1. It's now the end of Spring, year 2, and he has three hearts.
>>;;
I'm starting to give up on marrying this guy.
Anyone else go through this kind of disappointment, too?
^^;;
((I wonder if showing him my dog will boost his LP...))
((probably not...))

There likes and dislikes were found to change each day.
In my game i gave Mark Chocolate each day, once i got some different reaction from him.
So at a guess...
Every day 1 item is picked and this is his/her most loved item
Every day 1 item is picked and this is his/her most hated item

Well in the interest of symmetry it might be cool, like MM. It's not always nice to split pairs, But it would be way less creepy than MM...... Jamie = Gross.

Ugh, I'm so glad someone agrees. I can't
stand Jamie. I have NO idea why he/she has so many damn fanatics.

wow its interesting!
is he/she blushing? are you sure it's not because of their birthday?
ill marry them, because theyre good looking and so, all rivals can get married and having baby,
even though you can do this to with witch or shiba, but i prefer Mark over Shiba

I always loved Jamie because he'd say "Stupid stupid stupid!" whenever I proposed to him.

I don't have a problem with gay, transvestite, transsexual characters; but there is something weird about an ambiguously engendered character that is setup to be your rival/marriage candidate.

Yeah really. I had a hard time deciding whether Jamie looked more like a man or woman. They could have at least given him/her different outfits, bu no of course they couldn't do that.

I think that it's a great Idea to Marry Mark. This would be great because you get to see all the other couples have their own babies ( Rival Children). Mark is a good looking guy because *ahem* so go for him ok?
On the side note, Jamie is ugly. They should make another Harvest Moon game where if you play as a boy you get a rival boy and a really special bachelorette ( more special than the rest) whereas if you play as a girl the special bachelorette becomes your rival and the rival boy becomes the most special bachelor in game.
Also the main rivals/anatagonists/really special Boy/Girl can get married to any of the eligible people in game.

But that's pretty much what everyone is saying they don't want. Splitting up couples takes away a handful or really cool events, and in the latest games and a few older ones, that also means you can't see all the characters.
Also, having another random villagers go after a random other villager would be a very sporatic and unneccesary edition. It would be extrememly difficult to time the events to unlock other marriages, plus the other character breaks down marriages in the same way you would. BAD!
Maybe having 2 different people act as in game rivals for a particular bachelor/ette would work, but that would be a challenging group to marry.
Tree of Peace seems to have figured ou that we want to see our rivals marry and have kids. Both girls and guys have 3 bachelors/ettes that DON'T have a rival, but 4 who do.

i consider them as 'special' marriage candidates like witch and shiba. it's like hmds, they're just like normal people, just without rivals. you would get nothing out of it, except maybe, bragging rights.
