We only found about this maybe two weeks ago. Maybe not even. So as a result, little is known outside of the fact that it takes place on a group islands (more than in HM7) and that much of the HM7 cast returns.

Marvelous is actually good with their releases from what I've seen. Natsume on the other hand is not. If it does get pushed back, it'll probably only be a few months, maybe February or March. Thats not that long away.

Wasn't HM:Island announced around this time (give or take a month or two) last year? And it came out with only about a 2 month delay.
