Is this game out yet? ....if not...when does it come out?

In Japan, yes
In America, not yet, Summer 2008, no exact date though
In EU, yes, but no information yet, maybe 2010 or something like that

Gosh Summer '08 seems way too far away. :'( How disapointing. I haven't been on the UNoT forums in a long time (been playing/obsessing over Animal Crossing) but I had it in my mind that it was more near to the beginning of '08 .. sigh. Oh well, what can you do

Times actually goes by fast for me.
I remember it was just yesterday when HMDS came out and I was so excited!
Until I learned I couldn't marry Majyou then I threw a hissy fit.

Anyways if you want you can get the japanese version if you REALLY can't wait. Japanese DS games play in the US/Euro DS's but it's still in Japanese though.

And as for EU you can always import a US version of the game. After all that's what I'm doing for some PSP games that are out only in EU and may never have a release out here.(BoF3 and ToE)

Gamestop is lying again. ;-; They told me it was January 8. I'd rather believe that date though even though Ushi says Summer '08.

They're not necessarily lying. There seems to some confusion over the Harvest Moon DS 2 moniker. Some call Harvest Moon Island of Happiness HMDS2, but Harvest Moon Cute has been called HMDS2 as well. In this case, they're probably referring to Harvest Moon Cute, since I believe that game is indeed supposed to come out in Jan. 08.

They probably just picked a date so they could take pre-orders.

I really hope they wouldn't. I want it earlier. Or HMDS Cute. Which ever comes first. xD
