Actually, when I play Japanese version, it don't happen with me too.

they say it olny works for some of the japanese versions
because they corrected that glitch for most of the new ones they made....

Anyway, the Wolf-Riding glitch isn't something that you can do exactly, like a cheat.
I've read that it is only in the Japanese version of the game, and they corrected
it in the English version already.
