i wanted to see if any of the bachelor/ettes from island were still up for marriage, i noticed in this scan (above), that next to eric's picture, there was no heart, so, i'm guessing, that the same bachelor/ettes ARE coming back, but they're not up for marriage.

The person may also have been married, and after marriage the hearts disappear.

It was probably an event or when you first directly just enter the island. So nothing appears yet?

no, i think if it's like HMDS, then the heart next to the bachelor/ettes would show.

Well the fact the Chelsea is turned away from him might show that Eric is talking to someone else, maybe even himself...?
And in Mfomt when the bachelor is talking to another character, their heart disappears.

yes, but in hmds, when the bachelor is talking to someone else, he still has a heart. no, just because eric is turned away from chelsea doesn't mean the heart isn't there, in all the games that have hearts, the heart would always show up when the bachelor/ette was talking to the protagonist.

XD when I saw this scan for the first time, I thought the rock (edit: or herb/ whatever) was the black heart x'D
but you're right, he has no heart. Oh no! I really really hope you still can marry Valts. It would be extremely stupid if the only characters you could marry are those two new bachelors >_< (luckily this would be unrealistic, right?)

yeah, but there is truth that pierre is up for marriage, so, maybe only 1 or 2 bachelor/ettes from island are available.

There has already been a thread about this scan in which I addressed the fact that it says, right above the scan, that this is an example of a date event.

Eric is up for marriage. This is confirmed BY that scan.
