Oh no.... Especially with this guide, I bet I could play RF2 & understand enough to actually play it. O_O

But from another person who studies Japanese (I take lessons woo!), I highly respect all your work that was put into this. I know how hard it can be to translate a simple pre-teen book, so I can't believe all of your hard work to translate a game!

Well, looks like I may end up buying in English & Japanese. Hey, more save slots, right? :D I wouldn't even get English, probably, if they take Suu & Muu out/sevelery edit, but I really want that plushie!

Hi, I'm new and I just got Rune Factory 2 yesterday

But I have a simple question:

How do you buy stuff?
When I try to drag and drop something affordable into my rucksack, it won't let me. The prices of the items don't change even if I'm only holding 1 item(instead of 9).

このままじゃ何もできなくなる。。。

This is obvious, but there isn't a button that says kaimasu, is there? Or... « Puppy Doodoo ».. what's coloquial? Kairu? I always forget that word. Sorry! (Sorry I can't write it in Japanese, since my computer busted, but it looks like you know how to write it fluently anyway, assuming you didn't copy 'n' paste.) Or if you could get a screen shot, I might be able to help... I don't have the Japanese one, so I can't help much yet, but if your still stuck once I get it I'll try to help... Good luck figuring it out though!

Hm, well I managed to buy some seeds. I guess the 520 price was for 1 bag, not for 9. So expensive... Honestly, I couldn't get it to work before, even when I only tried to buy one bag

(Yeah, I know some Japanese. One reason I bought this game was for practice ^_^)

Excuse me! But...make sure you have enough money to buy anything.

The price show in shop menu is basic price that mean price of one piece.

For example: You see 980 G for 9x Blossom Turnip Bag but if you drag all 9 bags and put in your sucksack menu it's show the price is 980x9=8820 G.

I'm pretty sure you can't have enough money to buy any seeds from the start (so this is your mistake if you think Moon Droop Seeds only cost 520:9=~58 G). But you have 2 free Blossom Turnip Seeds bags from Mana at the start. Make money from it.

Each Blossom Turnip can sell for 210 G.

Hello, I would like to buy Rune Factory 2. After I was cheated with the Animals Crossing WIIFi Expansion (some things don`t happened if you have never connected to another game) I would like to know it there is some several « Cow Poopoo » in Rune Factory 2.

Mei in Rune Factory 1 wasn`t available either without a second game. (legal fraud I would call this).

Good question. I hated that I could never marry Mei in RF1. Same issues with ACWW, but I did have some friends with the game to trade with there.

So what do we miss if we don't use the WiFi?

I didn't read through the entire topic, but just curious. I read on Wikipedia that on both the boy and girl's route in the second half that you can have a girlfriend in Sera or Moe. [sarcasm] And since it's from Wikipedia, it's obviously true [/sacasm] Just curious about confirmation. Thanks ^_^

I've only used wifi once (and then it broke D:<) and have none to trade via wireless for 2nd gen, so i haven't checked it a lot myself
but i know that you can trade item like before and then playing mini games with monsters and other player
no marriage issue included anymore

What quest?

If you mean the first quest, just come near the board at the Park, and the event auto-occur.

Other Mana's quests will arrive when you get enough her Love points.

I've gotten a couple of monsters, basically the equivalent cow, sheep and chicken. I have more than enough feed from sickled grass and I brush them daily. However, after the first day of capturing them, when I "talk" to them, my character would say "___ doesn't seem you usual self" or something like that. But the animals still produce the goods they're supposed to produce.

I'm just wondering what that means? Do I have to manually get the feed from somewhere else? Or does it just means they want to go out?
