This is true. But if you plow over the poison pool it won't reappear again, even if you leave - so once you neutralize it, make sure to plow that square before you leave.Midnite Lace wrote:^Pour nuetral agent on the puddle and it will disappear.
But remember that once you leave the dungeon, it will replenish.

Ooh... I never knew that. I just assumed that every time I left the dungeon, I'd have to get a new thing of neutral agent.

O.o That actually sounds like a glitch. Are you playing RF1 or RF2?
The shops never close during holidays in RF2, but they do close in RF1..

Ah. Well, some "holidays" aren't actually Festival days.
Holiday is just the idea of a Sunday, or a weekend. Since an old tradition in some religions is that you don't work on a Sunday, I guess that was put into the HM games. Older games will have the full 7 day week and on the Sunday a number of the shops were closed and the people went to the local church. Many places still stayed open. Schedules changed, such as some went to church after work or something, but it wasn't like the whole town shut down like it kind of does in RF1/RF2.
In those games, the festival always fell on the same DATE. So, let's say there was a cooking festival in Fall 17 or something. It was always on Fall 17 even if Fall 17 was a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. It didn't matter. There were 30 days in the seasons still (perhaps 31 in some of them?) and so, just like irl, the dates were always different each year. Feb 16 may fall on Monday in 2009, but in 2010 it will fall on a Tuesday.
In RF, you'll notice there's only 6 days. Mon-Fri. Because of this, there is a Holiday instead of Sunday or Saturday. On these Holidays most of the stores are already closed. It's easier to put a festival on these days than on other days. Imagine if Summer 7 is a regular Holiday. Stores closed, can't do anything, yay. Oh no! Summer 8 is a Treasure Festival! Stores are closed! Can't buy anything or anything like that, awesome, that's gonna tick you off. It's easier to just put all the Festivals on the Holidays. Since there's only 30 days in the season and just 6 days in the week, there will always be a full 5 weeks each month, Holiday-Friday. Summer 1 will always be on a Holiday, Summer 2 will always be on a Monday, and so on so forth.
SO. When you look at your calendar and notice that some Holidays don't have Festivals, that's entirely and utterly possible. It's fine, normal, natural. They can't make every Holiday a Festival. I know, it's confusing to those of us who think Holiday as an important event (Christmas, Easter, St. Pat, Valentine, Halloween), but just think of those as Festival. In these games, Holiday = weekend and Festival = Important Event.
