So i just started Rune Factory (4 days into first year) and have a few questions I'm sure someone here can help me with.

First off what is the easiest way to earn money in the early part of the game.

Also I am most likely going to try and get multiple girls to level ten LP before choosing one. Can someone give me a rundown of when I should start to avid talking to them, so as to skip the marriage conversation until I want it. I most want this info for Felicity and Tabatha as I will most likely go with one of these two.

Also are there no wild fruits or things that appear naturally in the game world? What do you give the normal townspeople for gifts to raise there FP?

Finally does talking to someone more then once in a day do anything? Should i just talk to everyone once a day, or would talking to them for example once earlier and once later in the bar be better?

The easiest way to get money during spring is to fish at the ocean. Just fish after you've washed your plants. During Spring(I just got the game too) I had a scedule of just watering my plants, then fish, then take a bath, then train at the caves. I made about at least 5000 G a day. For 10 LP for Mist, give radishes to her, or just talk to her everyday(it's slower), for Tori just read everyday and talk to her, Lara:just give her strawberries, Rosseta just give her strawberries, Sharron, go into the caves, Tabatha: just befriend monsters, Melody: Take a bath everyday(I have 4 LP and I'm on Summer 2nd), Mei, give her fish I believe, Felicity: talk to her everyday, give her eggplant curd I think? Wild plants I've seen so far are grasses, medicine herbs, antioxidal herbs, bamboo shoots, and weeds. Talk to them just once a day for the higher FP. Events can make their FP rise up like crazy too.

First Poster was me. =D Tell me if I forgot anything ok? Oh yeah, remember to upgrade your Rod. I have a level 3 rod and I can catch snappers. Some snappers go over 2000 G!

Warning! If you marry Melody, you won't be able to use the baths anymore.

Sharron likes it when you give her crystals (beat up the squirrel things in Carmite cave, they give you fire crystals)

Certain grasses only appear in certain seasons. Blue, green, indigo, and violet grass only spawns in summer, black and white grass only spawns in winter.

This method requires a bit of short-term investment; but the rewards are much greater.

Finish the first cave ASAP; clear some area then move on to Toros.
When you're in Toros, the first area has a huge chunk of land. Clear it ASAP and fill it with Sweet Potato (or whatever grows faster). You can buy the Fall Seeds from Jean. In a few days, you should have a rune factory going.

Buy medication (temporary until you can get cure) from the library. This uses up 6 RP to heal status and 80 HP.

In Toros, go to the first room (snowy) on your left (or whatever room you want, but I prefer that one). Destroy the single monster generator in there and mine the rocks; charge your hammer if you have to.

When you use up your RP, keep mining until it starts taking a chunk out of your HP. Then go to your Sweet Potato field and pick up the runes. Using those, use medication until your HP is back to full and keep mining.

On my first week of spring year 1, I made about 20-50k a day from doing that; depending on how long I stayed there or how lucky I was (ores with high levels).

If you run out of runes in the cave, you can always take a bath at Melody's.

Also, if you follow this method, you should have the necessary funds and materials to upgrade all your tools to the 3rd charge; since you probably can't craft your own at this point.

ok....if you want to marry Tabatha you need at least 50 monsters. So, it'll take a while. Felicity...if you are going to marry her you need to cure her. there are a few steps so, i'll name them.
(1) look at the book about the cursed stone in the library
(2) after rescuing "Ceci" from Clemens cave talk to her on a rainy day she'll say the book was scary
(3) See Felicity at her house (Godwen needs 3 friendship points) she'll give you a stone.
(4) Give the stone to Edward (at the clinic)
now you have healed her sickness
to propose go the the plaza (weekend holiday) noon-4pm. if you talk to her you can propose(she MUST have 10 love points) Hope this was helpful

Yep thats what i do. mining is the best way to get money. i had 1 mil by summer 1 first year and my house was uprgraded. Since the ores come in many lvls you can sell them for quite a lot. as she said. 20-60k in a day (i wrote 60k cause ive done it before)
