Thanks in advance.

Different items for different people. Check the RF characters section, find the pages of the characters you want, and check to see what the most cost efficient item is out of their love/like boxes.

Well there probably is no single item that would raise the whole towns friendship as everyone likes different things, an easy way to befriend people is to talk to them during festivals or give them multiple gifts on their b-day which continuously raises there fp and lp it's a marriageable one. However if you desperately want everyone to have 10 friendship for you, you could plant a whole bunch of tomatoes, cucumbers and corn in caves or on your farm, preferably caves as they have a set season, and give them to the towns people over and over again on the harvest festival (fall 7) until they have 10 friendship for you. Although this requires a lot of crops. Make sure they are those crops as they have the most effect on the harvest festival.

I don't think they do for the harvest festival, they might though, and also that's a phantom crop right?
