So I'm married but cannot figure out how to buy the baby bed. It does not appear at Chen's or Goran's...
Do I need to have done something else as well in order for one of them to sell it?

The baby bed (子供ベッド) is at Chen's shop for 10,000 G. It will appear after you (or your wife) becomes pregnant.

I was just recently having the same problem. For me, I got married on Fall 5 and it didn't appear until Winter 5. The day after I bought the bed Chelsea became Pregnant. Just keep checking Chen's store after about a month of marriage.
