I'd like it, but if it turned out anything like the Zelda anime I'd shoot myself.

There was a Zelda anime? Well anyway, I was just wondering if they would make Raguna a dumb hero (Naruto, dumb as in unintellegent), heroic-like (think to back to those old super heroes), or somewhere in between (I would have to guess Phoenix Wright fits into this catagory, with his foolish moments once in while).

EXCUUUSE ME, MIST!
As long as the voices don't suck, I'm for it.

Meh, I wouldn't mind if RF became an anime. I'd watch it to see Ivan. And Russell.. <33
I kinda want a RF that has anime cutscenes, sorta like Tales of the Abyss.

XD Zelda... I hated it so much when it was on. Don't bring up the horrible memory, please...
I'd have to say that Raguna might be somewhere in between a classic hero and the idiot-types you see today. And thank you for explaining the Harem thing to me. I've seen it before, but never understood what it was.
XD I'd also love to see a spin-off that shows what exactly Ivan does when he's not in Kardia. Honestly, what DOES he do? Where does he actually go?

grrrrr...Naruto is
NOT unintelledent! He is very smart!!! just not wanting to show that fabulous knowledge off!!
and yes, RF would make a nice anime, but you have to think what he does all day. really who wants to watch some one plow a feild? Really.

...wow... just... wow. I suppose the fact that the storyline actually revolves around stopping the monster generators and saving the town from the Sechs Empire means nothing? Rune Factory isn't just about farming. In fact, there are people who don't really farm at all, so really, it probably depends on which aspect of the game the developers want to portray. And I'm going to lean on the plot of the game, not just the farming aspect.

Rune Factory would be great as an anime o~o. The opening reminded me of one, too...

I would not want to see an anime of Rune Factory if it was about Raguna. I think that we've already seen his storyline, and it would be cheapenning the game for me. I would prefer what someone already suggested though, a Rune Factory game with Ivan... or one that is based in the Sechs Empire.
But to be truthful I'd prefer more animated cutscenes in games rather than an anime... anime is just... so... so... ya know, there are anime fans here, so I'm not going to say anything. Just that I probably honestly wouldn't really like it as an anime if it was the game... and possibly wouldn't like if it was an anime at all.
The idea is good... but I think the execution would be terrible.
yes... I'm being cynical...

Well what if there were just specials that explain those questions that were left unanswered and other stuff, like about Ivan's side of the story or how some of the characters came to the village. But I see your point about a game being turned into an anime, one (which I will not say the name of) which was charming at first but then just became a endless plot, just kinda ruined the franchise for me.

I'd love an anime based on RF2.
The intro cutscene is done anime style ( just like RF1 )
But the trailer had some anime scenes not shown in the intro.
Could it be a hint?

Maybe, but an even more hintful hint is that they are focusing more on RUne Factory than the Harvest Moon series by making Drama CDs and that stuff. What scenes were in the trailer?

They definitely should! I've always wanted a laid-back action romance comedy. This is one of the only ways to do that. Not to mention I love the idea of a warrior whose position in life isn't just to fight, but to do farming stuff too. Of course it'd probably be Raguna/Mist, but can't win 'em all.

^^ Ennobot, I do agree there, that an anime may ruin the game, but the idea still intrigues me. If it's executed well, and the character personalities were improved, I'm sure it'd be a terrific anime, but maybe I'm being too optimistic here. The newer stuff that's coming out/has been out just doesn't interest me, but Rune Factory is a mellow, easy game, so an anime about it would be refreshing to me.

The camera pans over groups of characters
in the RF2 intro we only see it go over the marryable girls.
but in the trailer we also see the boys and a couple of others
