Level 1 ores

I am a level 25 miner, level 22 character, and have the iron hammer (or whatever the second level of hammer is) Am I doing anything wrong, because I only get level 1 ores in both Carmite and Toros Caves.

the farther down the cave the higher the chances of getting higher lvled ores. and dont fret, carmite and toros dont have super rare ores anyway. and try charging your hammer, an iron hammer isnt all that useful

o.o In Carmite, The ores closer to the boss weren't as good as elsewhere. At least, I don't think so.

Clemens and Mt.Gigant are FAR better....i got a level 9 gold ore from Mt.Gigant and tons of Rubies and Diamonds from Clemens.

The silver hammer is a huge improvement over iron. Take the time to work up to it.

The charge don't help get better Level Items, just help more easy to get rare Items.
Some special spot can have high level Items, other spots just have Lv1 Items.
Iron Hammer often can get Level 3-5 Items, sometime above Level 10.
Don't mine in Carmite, though it's easy to get Silver Ore in area 3.
The best area to mine in Toros Cave is the room next the western door (not the east door lead to Stair). You can find high level Silvers.
But if you plan to get money from Mining, just forget Toros and Carmite. The best are is Clemans Cave, at the room you rescue Ceci. It's easy to find Ruby high level and somtime Diamon (low level, but still expensive).

Yeah, I went further into Toros and got tons of money, now I just beat Gigant and I'm waiting for winter to get into misty bloom.

cuz then i can get fire crystals
and i give one to sharron
and she really likes that

As you get farther into the game and upgrade your tools you will find better lvls for the items.
The best i found was a lvl 60 Emerald at the kasimir cave,
But also i have a Platinum hammer when i have to look for ores.
