can your rivals have children?

I was wondering if after you were married and then married off your rivals if those married couples would then have children? I know in the N64 version for example, if you married Karen off to Kai, they would have a child that would be dressed in a Pikachu suit and the various children of the other couples would be varying genders.
So, does anyone know if this happens in MFOMT as well? I remember I got to a point where Karen was married to Rick and was saying something about being pregnant, although I restarted my game soon after and never found out what happened.
In my game, I am married to Won, we have a child (Penelope <3), and all the rivals are married off to their respective bachelors. Will they eventually get pregnant and have children? Is there anything I need to do to insure this will happen? If this does happen, describe the other couples' children to me!
EDIT: also, I apologize if this has been asked before and would appreciate it if someone would direct me to the thread where it was discussed. I don't want to beat a dead horse but I don't think I've seen it here before...
Thanks so much ^^

I remember Karen at one point talking specifically about being pregnant and the difficulties about it or something though when she was married to Rick in my old game...will she just continue saying this forever and never have the baby? Does anyone else remember her saying these things as well?
I hope I'm not getting it confused but I am pretty sure I heard her say those things in MFOMT...

Well, as far as the game goes, she's the equivalent of Bonnie from Family Guy. She never has the flippin' baby.littlenozomi wrote:I remember Karen at one point talking specifically about being pregnant and the difficulties about it or something though when she was married to Rick in my old game...will she just continue saying this forever and never have the baby? Both: Like a froggy ferny cabbage, the baby is unnaturally... EIGHTEEN!
Rick: And it has a purple cap with the letters UMA on it!

I must disagree, I rather the latter.Haymoo1 wrote:being the mother of a toddle for all of eternity. as annoying as im sure pregnancy is (i wouldnt knowLilangel wrote:I wonder what is worse: Being eternally pregnant, or being doomed to being the mother of a toddler for all eternity.) but toddlers can really get on your nerves
Who the « Snuggly Bunny » wants to waddle like a cow for eternity?
If the toddler gets on your nerve, get rid of it, duh.
If it is still in your womb, there will be complications, seeing as to get rid of it, you have to go to the doctor.
Besides, how bad can a toddler get?
There's plenty of ways to sedate a toddler when he/she gets on your nerves.
Not to mention that the child, even if they didn't grow up, would inevitably mature mentally.Verrine wrote:I must disagree, I rather the latter.Haymoo1 wrote:being the mother of a toddle for all of eternity. as annoying as im sure pregnancy is (i wouldnt knowLilangel wrote:I wonder what is worse: Being eternally pregnant, or being doomed to being the mother of a toddler for all eternity.) but toddlers can really get on your nerves
