I can't figure out how to drop stuff/flowers into the Goddess Pond.

Drag your stylus from the item (you are holding in your hands) to the water. You can probably just tap the water as well if you're holding an item.

I believe you *have* to drag. I tried tapping earlier and it didn't work. (Although, that was the first time I threw something in, so maybe now that it's a "known" place to throw stuff, tapping will work.)
