I finally got the Witch Earings, and as far as I can tell they slowly sap your strength and hunger. Does anyone have any idea how to remove the curse?

Have it blessed from the church? (or at least, that's what I read from Harvest Moon DS)

I tried going to the church and talking to the guy and the chick, with the earrings in the active slot. It didn't do anything. I also tried donating to the harvest goddess while having the earrings, and also nothing.

This game is not Harvest Moon DS. Someone posted that the harvest gloves might do the same thing as DS, but that's impossible since this game works completely differently from DS and has no "remote actions" or actions you can do while being in a different place.

I also would like to know what the gloves do, but haven't gotten them yet.

As far as I can tell the Witch earrings <i>restore</i> your strength and hunger at the same time, not decrease it. I bought the small one and it restores both values, but not enough to be significant. Hunger will decrease at the normal amount, which happens to be more than the witch earrings recharge.
