What do the stars mean on the calender? Whenever I'm on those days, nothing happens.

I think those are unofficial holidays... I remember that the holiday where guys give you a plate of cookies is one of those... as well as the day where you go over to one of the guys houses for "Xmas" dinner...
The girl give guys chocolate "Valentines Day" in December is one of those dates as well... so you basically just have to check your calendar and remember to do stuff on those specific dates...
