Age Range for RF
I see that there are more Middle-schoolers who play Rune Factory. Which means, kids between the age of 12-15..?
Aw. So you Middle-schoolers still have High School. At the age of 17, i'll be in college while you are in High School, where everything's still organized. In college, I think you mostly do everything yourself..commuting and more work. ^^'.

The school system in Canada varies -.-
Sometimes, it goes Grades 1-8 (called Elementary School) and then 9-12 (called High School). Sometimes it goes 1-5 (Elementary), 6-8 (Middle) and 9-12 (High). But for some reason my schools went 1-6 (Elementary), 7-9 (Middle, 9 is considered High, but in a Middle School) and 10-12. Regardless, I'm in Grade 11. Harvest Moon is great for all ages!

Here, when you're seventeen, you're still in either Grade 11 or 12 (I'm 17). Most university students are pushing their teens (most people take a "Gap" year before university/college) or have just hit 20.

I'll be around 17-18-ish when I start college. Bleh...I feel so old now. Oddly enough, my mom told me she started college at 15, and my dad was 17. I'm pretty sure the school system in their country is still the same, but what was also weird was that my dad was two years behind everyone...I feel even older now. And I'm not even that old...Err...Sorry for the rant...
Anyway, it's kind of nice, knowing there are people my age around here.
Especially people who like HM and RF too. It's really awful - nobody at my school has heard of any other video game except for Pokemon and Halo....

That's what all the boys play at my school as well - along with World of Warcraft...The girls play Pokemon (or at least the ones who play video games in the first place). I've asked practically every single person I know if they've heard of HM or RF, and everyone has said no. In fact, nobody's heard of any of the games I play. And they've all been released in the U.S. so far, or at least the ones I've asked them aboutMisti Rose wrote:and yumemiruchan, dont worry XP all the guys at my school only play bioshock and halo.. the girls only seem to know pokemon . -_-; harvest moon is almost unheard of!]
Anyway, my school goes from sixth to eighth grade, though most middle schools here are seventh and eighth. Everyone fits in from around 10 to 14 (though I know someone who'll be 15 in eighth grade...Guess I'm not that old afterall). A lot of the students who graduate at the high school go from 17 to 19.
...It's interesting to see that middle and high schoolers aren't the only ones playing the HM games.

Hah, my friend introduced me to Rune Factory and then lent her her copy of AWL, and then I interested her in MFoMT ;P We were studying Wuthering Heights in English and when she saw Cliff and how depressed he was she was like EEE HEATHCLIFF <3 So I'm going to marry him on my second file. But our other friend says she's too hardcore for such girly games ._.YumeMiruChan wrote:I'll be around 17-18-ish when I start college. Bleh...I feel so old now. Depends on the course and the university/college itself. I want to major in English or Creative Writing, and I like writing so it probably won't be difficult. You may have already had to do this but you need to memorize the periodic table of elements if you take chemistry. No fun.Misti Rose wrote:im curious .. o.o do you guys have enough time to play rune factory and also do well in college? [if youre going to college right now]
because im scared of bringing my ds to college once i turn 17.. XD i might end up failing all my classes..

Lol. I'm also in college, and I play RF, but the only way I pass is limiting my time to weekends or breaks. Never leave your DS, you'll want to have it. Trust me.Misti Rose wrote:im curious .. o.o do you guys have enough time to play rune factory and also do well in college? [if youre going to college right now]
