*sigh* Ruby (AWL Link)

I linked with AWL at the very begnning of my game; Spring 01. Autumn's rolled around, and I still have seen no sign of Ruby, or Lou, or whatever it is this game calls her.

I have at least 15 connectivity stars, so that has nothing to do with it, I'm sure.

Is this just one horrible little glitch?

You have to have at least 10 linkup stars in FoMT, I believe. I'm not there yet, either. Get more stars by sihpping more in both games.

OOH!!! I knew there was soemthing i was wanting to ask.
I have been having htis problem too. Im in Chapter 3 in AWL and Winter Year 2 in FOMT. I have 2 full rows of stars and 3 stars on the bottom row in FOMT and six stars in AWL. Still no Ruby/Lou in FOMT... (And Van is being stupid too and wont get any new records).

Same here... van only sells me the 1st 2 records and ruby/luu hasn't come yet!

I'm starting to think... are you friends with Ruby in AWL? Maybe this is a requirement, especially if people can get Vann and not Ruby.

Try to make good friends with Ruby... see if that helps.

I'll try giving her more gifts anyway, see if it makes a difference. By now, I'm willing to try anything.

I'm not sure I have all 32 stars and all records but I think you must have 10 stars or more on the hm:fomt file.

I dont know what im doing wrong in my game. Im friends with both Ruby and Van (they both look at me while they walk by) I've given Van a ton of eggs and ive gotten the Ruby spice from Ruby. Ruby never talks about going Mineral Village and never shows up there. Van sold me Spring Song in Chapter 1 and its chapter 3 now and he still hasn't gotten the second one even though ive linked 100000 times. I think the link part of this game is faulty. A lot of people seeem to have problems with it.

I have Lou and I am on like day 8 on FOMT with 3 star strength, and on day 6 of year one chapter one and got the first record. My strength is 1 in Awl. Weird eh?

I got Ruby/Lu to come.

How? Well, I can't be certain, but I do know that prior to linking again, I did a lot of cooking in AWL. It wasn't just one recipe several times, either. I did soups, I did salads, I did hors d'oeuvres. And when I linked, Ruby/Lu showed up at my door on Sunday.

Now, I can't be one hundred percent sure that this is what led to Ruby/Lu's arrival, but for all of you out there still having trouble, it can't hurt to try this out, can it?

And it wasn't just a bump, either. There was meaning to the post: I got Ruby to appear, and I wanted to share how I did so, because I know there are people who are struggling with it.

At every single board I go to, so long as a post has significant merit, it doesn't count as a bump. Is this board really that different that I would have been better off just creating a new topic even though there was a topic that already suited my purposes?

agreed! If the post helps in this case, it is not considered bumping. And besides I remember back than only week old topics are considered old and cant be bumped.
