I'm trying to find out of the country of origin for the DS actually affects whether or not it freezes like Fairytale mentioned io a previous thread.

Please don't answer if you aren't sure of the make of your DS!

Keep in mind I don't need to know if the DS EVER froze, just if it froze on Harvest Moon DS or Harvest Moon DS Cute.

And it doesn't matter what version of the GAME you have, just the make of the DS itself.

My DS is American :d my game stopped freezing regularly AFTER I accidentally used the fishing glitch. How ironic.

When it froze, did it freeze permanently or were you able to reload a previous save?

in the last two days my game froze 3 times, every time when i got the mythic tools and unlocked mine 4, and it was a permanent froze, and now my game is messed up because gotz visits me every day and asks to build a stone shed! weird, and my whole farm is messed up now

I was able to reload my previous saves.
It only froze on rainy days, when had very high fatigue.
About 90+

I have the EU (PAL) version and my game has frozen where I could just reload and also had the file corruption on both files at the same time so I had to start over from scratch.

my DS is european and I believe it has only frozen once..... can't remember when

My DS never froze. I bought it in Europe. It's a lite. My little brother has the old kind of DS and it never froze when playing a game either...

One time I thought it did, because the top screen wasn't moving and the touch screen was all black. I had paused the game. Oops! It's never frozen on me, though.

lol! that sounds like something i would probably do!

do you want ds or ds cute? ds froze alot and all the time even when i didnt use the billion dollar glitch, with the billion dollar glitch it froze and corrupted alot

ds cute has never frozen on me

i'd also suggest standing still while on sprite news, that made my game freeze on ds too

Well the only time I have had file corruption is my own fault because I started a new game last night then went to save but ACCIDENTLY clicked to save over my main file! In complete PANIC i turned the DS off while it was saving.

Not one of my BEST ideas I must admit. Lost my MAIN game and my NEW game so now i have nothing. Dunno what i will do now :L

It can be Harvest Moon DS or Harvest Moon DS Cute.

And by far leading out of the corruptions is...

the PAL version!
