Do you need to have all of the Kappa Jewels with you when you find the last Jewel to recieve the Gem? Thanks

That's odd, I got the Kappa Gem when I only had 4 of the 9 jewels with me, and the other 5 were on the shelves in my house.

BorderWolf42 is right - you do not need to be carrying all of the Kappa jewels to get the gem. They can be on your shelf at home.
