Ah, but nothing should stop you from trying Webby. My first webpages completely sucked. They got replaced by what I have now. It looks nice ^_^ now. And the pages are still based on those from my very first website (albeit heavily rewritten).

There is hardly fun content on my site though

If you want a website you've got two options:

1) Spend a lot of time trying and reading books/webpages
2) Spend an amount of money so you get a very easy to manage website based on a Content Management System (CMS).

However in both situations you must write your own pages (or steal them and get flamed by angry people)

Your first few websites will probably suck. But the design makes the biggest impression. Grab a design from www.oswd.org (they don't mind) and use that. Makes your page look a lot more interesting instantaneously. (I did, it says so at the bottom of each page

)
