You prefer son or daughter? And why?

I prefer a daughter, because in most of the previous HM games, you could only have sons. It's good to change it up!!

I prefer girl for the same reason too

I wish I could have a girl. Same reason as the posts above. But I got the boy version. *sigh* I'm a girl, but I didn't want to wait for Cute. I know I'll never play both at the same time and I want to keep playing my boy's version game, so I'm saving that $30 for sumpthing else.

Still wish I could have a daughter though.

Same reason here. If I ever wanted a kid in a game where I could choose the gender, I'd want a girl.

I'd like a daughter because you always get boys in the other games and I can never think up of any boy names

Exact same reason too! The only name of a boy I could think of is Max...

In this particular game, I think I'd rather have a boy. I don't really have any likes or dislikes for the son or daughter, though. I'll take whatever the game gives me.

The only other Harvest Moon game I've played extensively is More Friends of Mineral Town, and you can only get a girl child in that game. That may be why I want a boy in this game... but even if I do get a girl, I won't mind.

i like both just about equally and between my two data's i'd like to have one of each, i really wanted a girl so i'd have one and see what they look like

also the girl babys are really adorable

i really wonder what the hell they were thinking when they made the color schemes for these though oO;; they really suck, where the hell do you get neon yellow and ugly orange shirts and decide there a good idea?

I enjoy having a girl for some reason... I'm not sure why.

I'd rather have girl. But I'll be happy with whichever one I get just like in real life. (however I'm hoping for a girl)

I prefer the girl because a) she has really pretty eyes and b) twangers frighten me.

But I love Joseph anyway. *picks up and starts baby-talking*
