OK, I made friends with Flora and got the hot srpings.

I have Carter well in to the yellow heart.

Nina adores me. I'm befriending Lumina.

But I don't like Flora. Is there any benefit to keeping the friends I make to get cut scenes to play or be given items? Will my friendships deteriorate if I quit giving gifts?

I only bothered with Carter, but I see several people here who have other lovers in their game. Should I be woo'ing others to see their cut scenes? Is there any benefit in having more than one heart out there?

Yes, FP will go down if you don't keep talking to them. But it takes a while (I didn't talk to Flora for a whole season, and I think she only dropped like 2 FP.)

And do you mean can you see other people's heart events? Sure, you can multi-woo. I don't think you can see events after you get married, though. D:

Yes. You cannot see other's heart events after marriage, if you did you'd be cheating.

You can however see random/villager events and family events.

I'm playing as a hermit. The only thing even remotely related to romancing was giving Flora gifts to raise her heart to blue, so I could get the hot springs. When I got it, I stopped talking to her. I've also given Muffy some random stuff, she has big boobs. But other than that, I spend my game not talking to anyone unless I have to. I just focus on making money.

That's what I'm doing atm, I got married but I'm abandoning my responsibilities, let the wife and kid tend for themselves while I sing to my crops. Then I can build my golden farm. Heh heh.

Liking boobs awkward? Hey, I'd like to know that if I do get married in the game, and sire offspring, that the said offspring will have something to snack on, home made.

I'd just show Flora your cat, if you're worried about her friendship dropping. It's less expensive.
