When you make friends with normal villagers (not the girls), how many times will they change their speech? Doug, for example, has changed his speech once but I still can't get into his kitchen. (Ann's on green heart)

He won't change again but he will still let u in his backroom when u give him more gifts. That's what happen to me with Sibara. He changed his sppech but I have to give him more gifts to make him let in his room

Doug changes his speech twice, actually (unless you marry Ann, making it four times) and Jeff and Won change twice as well. And all you really have to do is make a habit of talking to the people, because they will evtually like you a lot more just when you talk to them. I can get into every room and I only give out presents to villagers on birthdays.

if you win the cooking festival, it'll help you get into Doug's backroom. That's what happened for me.

well, it'd be faster for you to win the cooking festival first wouldn't it? You could do that way, or win the cooking festival or give him the things he loves. For some people, they're really easy to get into, but like Anna's, they might be hard. Anna is driving me insane.

yeah,getting ppl to let you into to their rooms is hard,some of the ppl do say things that they only say once.I know doug,gotz, and doctor does that.
