When i first planted all of my first generation trees i was too poor to be able to buy fertilizer for them to get them to S quality. Its been like 2 years since i planted them. Can i still fertilize them and have them give S quality fruit even though they are fully grown and already give fruit or do I have to fertilize them while they are still growing?

Yes, I believe you can, if I remember correctly. I haven't actually tested this personally, but that is what I recall reading.

Yes, as long as they are still standing, you can do that. Someone please tell me if you can't destroy completely mature trees, but I think it would be cheaper to get one seed from that tree, then get rid of it, and use Tartan and an upseed to make an S-rank seed for the tree and plant it.

You can't use an upseed with a tree seed. But if you use a tree seed in the first slot, and an s quality crop in the 2nd, you'll get an s quality tree seed.

I'm pretty sure that you can't use fertilizer on a tree after it is fully grown.
