Parents and HMDS Cute

My mom and I both play Harvest Moon! ^_^ She's about to marry Muffy in the Boy version. My brother thinks we're crazy. . . .

But today I showed her my baby in HMDS Cute and she's like:
(Note! She said everythin in spansih!!!)
Ah!! How cute!! What's her name?
Me: Sakura
Mom: No wait! That's something chino or something!
Me: No it's not! It's Japanese! Completely differnet!!!

Yeah. I tried to talk to mi madre about HM, and eventually she was like, "I DON'T CARE." I got pretty butt-hurt about it =[

That was a few years ago, though.

Heh, I guess. My little sister is the only one who seems to be slightly interested.
I'll show my brother and Dad (mom and dad can hardly see the handheld's screen xP) the characters (like skye) and my dad was wondering why you could marry a cross dresser in a kid's game. D: Duh it's Harvest Moon.
I also mention the highlights like having little slaves work for you, and all the cute girls you can't marry in the girl version, and all the old men, and creeps, and perverts and such.

They think Harvest Moon is a very twisted game~

Whenever I buy I new HM, my parents always get angry and go "WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THESE GAMES!! THEY'RE ALL THE SAMMMEEE!!"

I showed it to my grandparents (without mentioning the slaves or the other twisted parts, Chime :p) and they were amazed, it was so sweet!

They thought it was amazing that you could fit so much information into such a small cartridge, and how my DS is like a "computer you can carry around with you"

I used to yammer on about MFoMT to my mother all the time. "Gray is the perfect man!" "We're gonna get married!" "I'm pregnant. Help me pick out some baby names." "Isn't the pixel puppy sooo cute?"

Though now I might yammer on to her about DS Cute.

Me: shows picture.
MOM:

i don't know hunny, he looks a little g a y....

bored with skye so went on to new guy.

Me: mom i'm gonna marry Griffin.
Mom: let me see.
Me: shows
Mom: this one looks to old for you hun... he could be your dad.

and all my friends think Gustafa looks like my dad D:

^^^^ ~Gigglesnort~ That's exactly what a couple of my FRIENDS told me. I don't tell my parents about my HM husbands. My dad would be all... "why would you try to marry pixels?" and my mom would just be... I don't even know. Strange. I know THAT. But I tell them when I get animals and they demand I give them odd names. Who calls a sheep Cheggers? Yeah. My dad. And just to make me hate their names - that kinda thing bugs me eternally.
