I was playing AnWL once with my mom watching and my sheep died. This is how it went over:

Me: My sheep is sick, I think...
Mom: Awwww...what's it's name? How is it sick? Like with a cold?
*Sheep dies*
Mom: Oh my gosh!!!! You killed your sheep, how could you? Look at it's poor legs in the air!
Me: Don't worry, Mom, I can buy another.
Mom: WHAT?! After you just killed this one?!
Me: Mom, it's just pixels, and I'm a millionaire here, anyway.
Mom: Look at it's poor legs! You killed! Dogs go hide, she might get to you too!
Dogs: *Stare....*

I'm never going to live that down, ever. I still can't walk by sheep without her yelling at them to run away. If I play ANY HM game its like: Honey? Did you kill a sheep yet?

And with HM:DS I run around screaming:

Me: Hey dad, I'm rich!
Dad: Is that all?
ME: ....AND I have (enter # here) sprites. And I have Muffy at a blue heart, and its still Summer 13. And I have a chicken. I can't wait for HM:DS:Cute! You have GOT to see Steiner!!!!
Dad: I thought you hated chickens. And is Steiner even a boy?
Me: Steiner's a guy, Dad. Never mind.
Brother: You have what???

I do sometimes. Last night in HMDS I had a son, and I showed him to my mom and she was like, "Aww, he's cute, I like his hair."
My dad doesn't really care about it though! d:
Sometimes I tell my brother what I'm doing in HMDS as well.

I think she was just making fun of me when she acted like that. Sheep do that only in (I think) Another Wonderful Life, but she knows a lot about all the other games now too, not that she really cares about it though.

Sorry, it double posted.

If I'm in town with my mum and I get a game I've always wanted and saved up for, (Even if I got a game anyway and didn't really know everything about it or had saved up for it) I yatter on and on to her about it until we get home and I start playing it. Then I just quienten down about it a bit. Because I know that if I were her, I might get a bit sick of hearing my daughter ramble on and on about it almost all the time to me... ^^;

I sometimes tell my mom about my sheep, or if my file damage(My HMDS file damage about 3 times now)

i tell my mum random things, like when i'm married and i'll show her my baby and say "here's your virtual grandchild!" and i told her how distraught i was when all my barns collapsed on my animals on my first game in the boy version... so sad T^T

but it's mostly me and my sister who talk about harvest moon. we'll talk about potential spouses, babies, animals, etc. and then my brother is like "will you stop talking about harvest moon??!!" i got my sister into hm when i got the boy version and then she put it on her birthday list. but i had to help her with EVERYTHING! but she's ok now. she's trying to save up for ds cute so she can get it off ebay.

I always ask my mom who she would marry and then she'd chose someone terrible like Carter or Takura. And then I say, Carter is older than her and Takura is like my uncle or something. And then I just chose whoever I want. I think she also liked Rock.

I don't really show my parents the game, even when they come to my room and see playing the game. But when my older brother comes to my room and sees me playing the game, he jumps on top of me just to see what I'm doing( He used to own the boy version but sold it in Gamestop, maybe because he own the glitched version). He once went though to booklet and when he saw Skye, he asked me "Who's Skye?". Yeah, well like I said, my parents don't usually pay attention to the games I play unless I show them.

Neither do I when it really comes to my mom... (Im talking about showing the games...) She just knows that I play a lot of Harvest Moon, Pokemon, and Animal Games!!!

I still remember this one time my file was corrupted in DS. We were in the car.
Me: What!? No, Keria!
My Mom: Kira- what?
Me: My file is corrupted, I was just about to propose to Keria!
Mom: Propose. . . to who? O.O''

My parents know about Harvest Moon, since they're the ones that usually buy it for me. XD

Haha I never shut up about it!
Me: OH MY GODDDDD!
*mom, dad and my sister look at me*
Mom: What?
me: I CAN HAVE FRIGGIN' DUCKS!!!
sister: her life is now complete...

Another time:
*shows sister a picture of skye*
Me: I'm maryring him.
Sister: Why are you marrying a girl...Your g a y?
Me: Skye's a boy...
Sister: whatever you say...
they humor me...

When I first got the game, I told my mom about it. She freaked out because I told her about the Best Friend System. She was like, 'And I let you play games like THAT?!" So, now I believe my mother is a hypocrite. And It's people like her who got the BFS taken out of the game.
