How long did you wait to get married?

I was just wondering how long everyone waited before getting married. I want to trigger the rival marriages first - and I think it will be easier if I can see their AP points, so I'm waiting untill at least year 4. I also want to see all the heart events, so it might take even longer.

i started wooing my chosen girl as soon as i got 60 sprites, and married them once i got their heart at red

I got married in Summer Year 2. That's cool how you want to trigger rival marriages first. Most people don't do that. Just make sure you don't accidentally activate your potential spouse's marriage to your rival, unless you're marrying Skye or a MT boy... then it's ok.
Edit: Annnd just in case you're playing the boy version: replace "Skye or a MT boy" with "a 'special' girl."
Haha, I'm just assuming that everyone is playing Cute now, but how the heck should I know?

I'm going to do the rival marriages too (making sure I trigger any more random events that require them to be unmarried, first though). I'm coming to the end of my third year, but not getting married anytime soon. If I did want to though, I'd only need to buy the blue feather and catch 4 more sprites, and buy the big bed.I look forward to seeing the circus though and seeing what gender child I end up with.

Winter year 3 with Gray. I kind of didn't do any waiting, consdering I only saw him once a week.

Well in HMDS I got married in Winter yr3...as soon as I got my 60th sprite I just proposed to Lumina...(Shoulda have married Nami but saved by mistake! ) But in HMDS Cute, I married Marlin in Summer yr2 and Skye in Winter yr2... I waited 4 Skye's wedding bc I wanted to get married in Winter 13th!!! So yea

I haven't married yet! ... D; But I'm hoping to marry after I get some more heart events from all the boys. XD <3

Early year 2 in Cute and late year 2 in DS. I saw all of the regular girl events and since my data had already corrupted once before that I didn't want to jinx it so I just got married.
