Help with Kappa Jewels

It is to my understanding that one of the nine Kappa Jewels can be found in the rocks of Floor Zero of the Lake Mine, that Floor Zero is the floor you enter on, and that this is one of the more difficult Jewels to unearth for unknown reasons.

I can understand difficult, but I've been reloading for the what I'd say is about five hours altogether, trying to find this gem, to no avail.

Is there a reason I'm not finding it? I don't have any other Kappa Jewels, because I wanted to fet them all in one sweep. So far, that plan has gone rather horribly, as you can see...

you need a cabinet. Do you have a cabinet? If not, then that's your problem. Also, keep trying, don't give up.

hmm... You're smashing rocks right? Just want to make sure. For some people, they take many days trying to get this one. I just got mine on the first try... I had luck on that one, but when it came to some of the cursed tools, I had a lot of trouble. Just keep trying.

You probably already are, but like the hammer thing it could be your one problem.

You are reloading outside of the mine correct? If you have saved ON floor 0 and you are just reloading that you will just be smashing the same layout over and over.

And if you already are doing this, just keep trying. I thought that the cursed tools and gems were the worst part about this game. Having to use a save and reload function shouldn't be necessary to get certain things, and it's not like they're all that great anyways. Just keep at it.
