Okay - I just finished chapter 2 and suddenly, for some reaon, my kid has become obsessed with art even though I took him to Gustafa's house and the Villa nearly every day. Also, I recieved a tumtum (drum) from Gustafa and a score (sheet of music) from Lumina but I have no idea what to do with these (I got them near the beginning of chapter three). My kid will not accept them so I just carry them around for no reason. Is there any reason for these items and how do I use them? Oh, and by the way, is there any other way to push my kid into becoming a musician now that it is impossible to carry him anymore? (It is Muffy's child, by the way).

yeah im experiencing the same thing as you right now. My kid is obsessed with art and wont take the drum or score sheet. i dont care though cause i wanted him to make up his own mind on what he wanted to do and if he wants to be an artist ill let him. I dont know if there is any way to change what his interest is now. dont know.

I think the game is perverse. I gave Gustafa tons of gifts, I got the drum and my kid took it, but he decided to be an archeologist at the start of chapter 4. And in chapter 3, his diary said he wanted to be a scientist, and he was always talking about farming. Go figure.
