I just had a question. Well when you press select you get the screen that tells you how many hearts you have on your horse and dog and stuff. But wut is that Blue book thing in the first screen?

no, it does NOT tell you how many books you have, it's your recipes. How many recipes did you make.

I'm sure the anonymous poster didn't mean to say "books," but rather "recipes in your book." Of course.
