How do some of you get down to levels past 8 and all the way down to 59 in the mines? I've only been to level 8. Should I bring food and stuff with me on my digs in the mine???

save before you descend to next level incase of random dead end

once you are on new level, save to the OTHER file and then just dig around till you find stairs, then LOAD from the SECOND file and go to the spot where you found the stair, and then save to FIRST file and descend, REPEAT this until you get to 255 or w/e level you want to go

Bringing food helps too....just in case. ^_~

The best food you can bring is Elli Leaves. You won't need more than one or two Elli Leaves to get to the very bottom of the mine, if you're efficient.

well i have only one save file and this is what i do. i keep my inventory full of drinks + a basket and only bring a hoe/hammer. i find the exit, save, dig around for those black leafs found in the mine, after i find them, i reload my game.. use my hoe to dig it up, eat it. repeat till i have enough stamina to go on.

haha,, good luck my friend, when you reach 254 and cant find the stairs down

are you dumb? i find the exit, if i can't i reload to the floor above. then i save, when i find the exit. then i dig around for grass, reload the game, dig them up and get extra stamina back from eating the grass. sure its not much but its not like i can cheat like you guys and use two save files. and fyi, i already got th teleport stone in my deleted file doing it this way.

How is it cheating to use both save files? They're there, right? Why not use them to make a rediculously difficult task a little easier?
