You've got to have the hammer equipped in the second slot of your rucksack, so you can just press L and B to switch to it and whack that mole.

Mini-game in FoMT.
I have yet to successfully whack even a single mole....but then...I'm not really trying that hard.

i got 11 on it, but i did that long time ago, when i first started, man, i miss those days,, farm work ACTUALLY takes 10 - 20 game hours to do... not like now... im done by 7am everyday ,, damn all those mythic tools, but im pulling in the dough, so
