I heard somewhere(I think it was this website)that you get the horse on your first spring.It's my first winter,and still my stable is very empty.Do I get the horse on the second spring?

I have been to Yodel Ranch 100 times,and I still don't have the horse(it's more like 10 times)

You have to talk to Barley personally - perhaps not just across the counter. The next morning he should stop by with a horse.

you need to talk to him BEHIND the counter, not in front of it, because that's not really personal, in front of the counter is more.. businesslike.
