1. Yes, if you put an ear of corn in the feed maker, you will make chicken feed.

2. You need to grow grass to make feed for your cows and sheep. I bag of grass seed will make 9 squares of grass, when harvested each square makes 1 feed.

3. No idea on this, sorry.

4. If you are keeping them outside on nice days. You need to make sure there is grass growing in your field. Your cows are starving! So keep some of the grass growing. Harvest a little bit for the rainny days.

That's the female character from Harvest Moon 3 for the Gameboy. If you were the guy she was your farm partner, but you could play as her and have the boy as your partner.

Nope. Only grass at full length. If you have enough stones from the beginning of the game/storms and logs from the wood shack, make a fence on your field, like a giant rectangle, and grow grass in there. That way, you can put your cows and sheep outside in that area.

Oh, and by the way, the corn, when thrown in, does make 30 piles of feed.

Yes but the cows and sheep need grass within the fenced area or, apparently, very close by. The chickens don't need grass at all - they find worms or something.
