In A Wonderful Life it's different - pretty much backward. You can only give items to people, store them, or eat them. If you press "A" anywhere else, it'll just tell you a description of the item. You have to throw them away in designated trashcans if you don't want them.
I think it'd be cool if you could drop a veggie or fruit once or twice, and it would just bruise, but if you drop it again it busts open or breaks.
but I don't think that would be good for everything...like if you dropped your baby a few times...! or just something like fodder or a ming vase...
True, but they wouldn't redefine the physics of the Harvest Moon universe for a remake on Gameboy Advance. I like the bruising idea though, but it would take some thought - like if you drop an apple on the sandy beach, it won't be nearly as badly hurt as if you dropped it on the bricks in town.
