Hmmm, it must be only in Cute, because I didn't have this problem in DS.

man... i just read the whole guide... i'm sleepy now... but it will be very helpful. i just started playing again. i stopped for a while because I was upset about having to start over. my stupid game froze and natsume had to send me a new one

. now i have to marry kai and have our daughter again. this time I'll have to do the 3 season thing to make sure i get a girl.

but i figure if i propose on the same day and get married the same day I did before, I'll get a girl again. but I'm still gonna check to make sure. since i gotta wait till summer 27 year 4 to propose(yes I did the math) getting all the sprites will pass the time.... so thankyou very much. i already have 60 and let me tell you, those animal sprites are a pain to get. I get so tired of petting chickens it's not even funny. especially since this is my second time doing all this. your hand gets really tired after petting all your animals, brushing them, shearing/milking them with the touch glove. know what i mean? i think I still need the miking (some number of times) sprites. the brushing and shearing ones too. I'm gonna go use those tips that are in the guide. man my arm will be really tired...

yeah, the animals ones are by far my least favourite.

but about the daughter thing- the day you get married doesn't determine what gender child you get. it's completely random, that's why if you sleep through 3 seasons and then do the marriage ceremony over again, you'll get a different outcome.

hmm well i still want my same anniversary, but i never had to sleep for 3 months before. i got lucky. i'm gonna go make my arm really tired now.

is it ok if I print out your guide for future referance? i hate having to repeatedly run to my computer. maybe i'll go buy water first. get those sprites.

This is wonderful! Thank you LilithLilith, I have been pestered into playing Harvest Moon by some of my friends and I love it! I got the game yesterday and my friends have been helping me but, this guide is alot easier than them yelling over my shoulder on what I sould do next. Thank you again for posting this!

@Everyone worshipping Lilith: I remember first seeing this guide then going crazy that HM was so easy, then trying it, then going crazy over how difficult life was /shot
