hi i have got 38 sprites and i need your help to get me to 60 from 38 so ill tell you all the sprites i have and then can you tell me the cheats to get the restLily<3 wrote:Alot of people find it difficult to get 60 sprites. This started as a strategy to get 60 sprites, but which 60 do you get? Everybody plays differently and everybody has a different definition of "easy". There are alot of little tricks and strategies in these ramblings I've produced and hopefully they'll help someone.
I've put some observations about time, but I'm reluctant to do so any further, because everyone plays different and this is in no way intended to walk someone through getting all 101 sprites. If you come across a section that you are not enthusiastic about, skip it. It's your game.
If you have any suggestions, please respond and I'll insert them where appropriate.
*the Yellow team is represented in this as Pink, because there's not a form to yellow that is visible with the standard background*
You will start out with Neptune, Guts, and Mercury.
On your first day, you will find a few sprites just by examining a few items around the valley.
Also on your first day, show your dog or cat to anyone who enjoys seeing them according to the table at the bottom of this link: http://www.fogu.com/hm6/chan5/makingfriends.php
- Press A while standing next to your watering pond to get Karaf.
Press A at the fountain in Romana's courtyard to get Jum.
Press A in front of the kiln in the Inner Inn's yard to get Tep.
Press A to the north of the orange crate on the second floor of Inner Inn to get Jet.
Press A in front of the well west of the Blue Bar to get Hops.
Try to leave the valley east of Vesta's farm to get Jackie.
Fill your water can 10 times (anywhere) to get Misty.
Early in the game, the easiest is someone in the Inn because it is close to your farm. Show them your dog or cat about 50 times. If you have done it enough, Uranus will be rescued in the morning. If he does not show up, recheck the list or show your dog or cat a few more times to that same character. If it still does not work, choose another character or wait until after 8 Spring to get the Truth Bangle.
Moon Drop 43 has an easier (and certainly more logical) way to do this:Moon Drop 43 wrote:An easier way to do this to get this sprite is on your first day of gameplay(Spring 2nd) it happens to be Romona's birthday. Her favorite gift are flowers and 9x5=45 you just need to give her another flower and she'll be at 100fp by the next day. And if you want to make sure she's at 100fp experiance this event:
The Painting, part 1
» Romana's Mansion, Romana's bedroom
» 7:30 pm to 12:00 am
» Ronama 100+ FP
Starting from your first day, do the following:
» purchase an item from Karen's supermarket. It can be as little as a box of flour. She is closed on Tuesdays and Sundays. After you've bought 10 items, Venus will appear.
Especially at the beginning of the game, the days tend to get away from your and 10 business days (ultimately two full weeks in the game) gets to be very, very long. To keep my sanity, I choose either oil, flour, or curry powder (both 50G each) and buy one each day and keep it in my rucksack. That way I'm sure I have bought something every day. If you do this, you will unlock the shopping channel on 14 Spring.
After you've bought the basket from Karen, ship something in it and Veggie will appear.
» get money to build barns and level up tools: you won't get a sprite for this, but it'll make things easier.
Jewelry is buried at the excavation site. Each time you enter the site, the location of the jewelry changes. So if you follow these steps, you can locate the jewelry with uncovering only a few tiles, conserving stamina and fatigue.
»» enter the excavation site and save your game
»» start digging and note where you dig up jewelry
»» load your saved game and dig up the jewelry then save
»» after you have found all the jewelry there is to find, exit the excavation site and reenter.
»» repeat
You can then sell your findings using your shipping bin or wait until days that end in 3's and 8's to sell them to Van. Van usually gives you a higher selling price and you can haggle with him on the price. I usually sell none of the jewelry for less than 3000G. Compare that to the 2000G you get from using the shipping bin!!
» be using your tools. Upgrading your equipment is an easy way to get sprites. Selling weeds does get 1G per weed, but getting experience on a sickle is important too.
» eat grasses. doing this will give you Anime, Powery, and Koto. After you find Koto, you can stop eating them and just sell them (30, 80, and 150 grasses, respectively). It may be a good idea to only eat grasses that don't affect or minimally affect your stamina and fatigue. Ones that make a big difference, especially in stamina, are useful when mining.
» You need to buy drinks at the Blue Bar. In Cute, you can just buy water. In HMDS, you need to actually buy a drink. So do this whenever you are financially able. You will get Spirity for buying 1 drink and Souly for buying 50 drinks.
On your first Saturday, you need to get the fishing rod from Galen.
» enter his house between 12:00 and 2:00 pm.
» have nothing in your tool slot in your rucksack.
» have already introduced yourself to Galen and Nina before hand (just talk to them once each).
Galen will give you his old fishing rod. Cast your rod into the watering pond at your farm to get Riviera.
On 8 Spring, go across the bridge from the main pathway to Vesta's farm. Roller will show up and take you to the Sprite Company Tree. You can now buy the Truth Bangle and Love Bangle. The teleport stone is also very, very useful.
At the Sprite Company Tree, buy 5 records from Jet to get Jupiter. This is also where they sell Cabbage, Pineapple, and Green Pepper seeds. They sell the seeds all year round, but you can only grow cabbage in the spring, pineapple in the summer and green peppers in the fall. You will get Kamar when you ship a cabbage, Moor when you ship a pineapple, and Vail when you ship a green pepper.
Around this time you will have rescued 20 Harvest Sprites, which means you get Earth.
While you're accumulating wealth, make sure you're putting a few things in the shipping bin. Weeds count. Once you reach 1000 you will get Fraw. Then, on a sunny day, leave your house from 6:00 am until 5:00 pm and Tak will offer you a horse. Accept this little guy and ship something in his saddle bags. You will get Kevin this way.
Participating in festivals at the beach, is also important. You get Saturn after you've actively participated in 3 festivals. Even if you don't get enough money to have an animal for the first year, participating in Beach Opening Day (1 Summer), Fireworks (24 Summer), and the Harvest Festival (9 Fall) will do the trick. You need to bring something to put in the harvest pot during the harvest festival in order to participate.
When you gain enough experience with your tools, you'll start upgrading them using Gray and ores you find in the first and second mines. If you want to complete the necklace collection, you'll have to upgrade them in order (copper/silver/gold/mystrile). But if you don't care about the necklaces, once you have 400% experience, you can upgrade them directly to mystrile. Doing this to all of your 6 tools will get you 3 sprites: you will get Fisher by upgrading your fishing rod to mystrile, Valie for upgrading your axe to mystrile, Forest for upgrading your sickle to mystrile, and Roli for upgrading your watering can to mystrile.
Finding cursed tools can often be discouraging once you've collected a few. The reason is that every time you enter a mine floor which can contain a tool, one square is selected to be the "tool" square for the time that you are on that floor (meaning that once you leave that floor, a new square is selected to be the "tool square"). When you find the "tool square," there are 7 possible results: watering can, hoe, sickle, axe, hammer, fishing pole, and nothing. Since you cannot collect more than one tool, if you find a square that would normally produce a tool that you already have, it will appear as a "no tool" square. so, once you have collected 5 cursed tools, you only have a one in seven chance of finding the last cursed tool.
By smashing stones and breaking branches, you have caught the following sprites: Bran for 100 branches, Decoy for 250 branches, Woody for 500 branches, Tilus for 100 stones, Stony for 250 stones, and Rosh for 500 stones. It is usually possible to break 250 of each by the first summer. 500 stones and branches tend to take most of the first year.
If you hire the lumber team, whatever they break and smash is added to your count, so if you're not a fan of foraging for branches and stones, that's one alternative. To rescue the sprites, you need to break a branch or smash a stone though, just like with the fishing team.
After you have upgraded your axe and hammer, you can split stumps and smash stones. You get Pierre by smashing 15 stumps and Alpen by smashing 5 smooth stones. These two can be accomplished from the start of your game. The easiest way to smash 15 smooth stones is to allow or to force a typhoon in the Summer of Year 1. The weather manipulation trick works well for this.
»» before bed, save.
»» go to bed.
»» in the morning check the weather.
»» if it's not a typhoon, reload and repeat.
keep in mind that you cannot have bad weather on a festival day. While you're in your house during the typhoon, scan your farmland and the valley using the map to see (1) if there are any destroyed buildings, and (2) a few smooth stones have come up. They usually accumulate in the empty area around Galen and Nina's house and in your own farm land. After you have smashed 15 smooth stones, you will get Rocky.
[note] Information about opening mines is here:
http://www.fogu.com/hm6/chan5/mining.php
There is some discrepancy about whether or not all of the tools need to be upgraded to mystrile or not. Keep this in mind if you're playing Cute and unable to open the third mine or obtain the legendary sword.
After you unlock the third mine, start searching for Cursed Tools:
http://www.fogu.com/hm6/chan2/alltools.php?&p=
Upon blessing all 6 cursed tools, you will get 4 sprites: Fen for blessing the cursed hammer, Matthew for blessing the cursed sickle, Sammy for blessing the cursed fishing rod, and Maddie for blessing the cursed watering can.
On 2 Winter, Thomas will appear in the morning to ask you for a favor. He needs an item when he comes for his shipment that evening between 4:30 and 5:00. This is usually simple, like black grass or a diamond. If you cannot come up with the item by the end of the day reload and he'll ask you again. Once you give him his item, you will get Oran and Thomas will give you a piece of golden lumber. He will ask you for something every 2 Winter and you will always get a piece of golden lumber.
When you have a good income and can afford to do so, hire the fishing and healing teams. Both will help you to unlock other members of their team. Some people choose to hire the fishing team until they have gotten
Paige for catching 50 fish, Fry for catching 500 fish, Rod for catching 1000 fish, Gigi for catching 5000 fish, Pedro for catching 10.000 fish, and Tricky for catching 50.000 fish. Fish that the fishing team catches goes toward this goal, but you catching a fish actually will actually rescue the sprite. It does not have to be the 500th or 1000th fish exactly. To know how many fish your fishing team has caught, go to the shipping screen and scroll down to the small, medium, and large fish. Add those three numbers together to get a rough approximation. When you have gone over a required number, go to a body of water and catch a fish.
Some claim that you get more fish when you put the fishing team at the ocean. Others have had large success in other areas on the map. However, it is true that "large fish" are caught more frequently in the ocean than anywhere else. Since large fish sell for 200 G while medium and small fish sell for 120 G and 50 G, it is safe to say that placing the fishing team at the beach is more profitable than anywhere else.
Hands down, the purple team is the hardest team in the game to complete.
In order to rescue 4 of their members, you need to hire the purple healing team and ask them to heal you. You can only ask them every 30 minutes. You will get Nette, Whitney, Juna, and Sante for asking them 100, 250, 500, and 1000 times.
Sandy_ham found a way to get these sprites faster in-game time using the blessed time ring.Sandy_ham wrote: Well, you need the Time Ring for it to work. You know that you can ask the purple team to heal you after 30 minutes, right? Well, if you equipe the Time Ring, you only need to wait 15 minutes, instead. Perfect for Winter when you want to pass the time away, and at the same time, get sprites faster. So you can ask them twice as much than originally without the Time Ring.
unlocking the hot springs are slightly different in HMDS and Cute. in HMDS, you need to experience Flora's Blue Heart event:
http://www.fogu.com/hm6/chan3/flora.php?p=
In Cute, you need to experience an event with Flora above 250FP:
http://www.fogu.com/hm6/chan6/events/fo ... ing.php?p=
Blue is unlocked by casting your fishing pole into the first hot spring (by the circus grounds). Using this hot spring for 200 times for at least 1 hour every time will rescue Violetto.
If you enter the first hot spring 100 times, the second hot spring is built for you. It will be near the goddess pond. You do not need to be in the first hot spring for any period of time to activate the second hot spring. By casting your fishing pole into the second hot spring, you will get Reese. By using the second hot spring 200 times with at least one hour each time, you get Carey and for 500 times with at least one hour each time, you get Sacci.
Sandy_ham's time ring trick also works with the hot spring. so instead of spending an hour per visit, you just need to spend 30 minutes per visit. it doesn't make you get the sprites any faster in real time, but you are able to get more visits in per day.
The majority of sprites come from ranching:I usually do my ranching in three parts: (1) birds, (2) sheep, (3) cows. I build one permanent animal and bird shed and the rest can be made from fodder. If you do this. save every night. If someone sneezes too hard on your farm, your barn will collapse. But since you'll just be tearing them all down anyway, it's the most economical choice.
I'm now assuming that you have a good bit of wealth.
» Ask Gotz to build a semi-permanent bird house. Stone if you can afford it.
» Buy only one chicken. When it lays eggs, hatch them or sell them.
» Ask Gotz to build you a duck pond. This is a little bit expensive, but keep doing the excavation site trick and you should be able to do it in a few weeks.
» Buy a duck and when it lays eggs, hatch them or sell them.
» Ask Gotz to build 4 more chicken coops. It's a good idea to make these of fodder because you will only tear them down
» Continue hatching chickens and ducks until you get a total of 20
By doing this, you will get Mick for having 10 chicken/ducks, Woohoo for having 20 chicken/ducks, and Canary for 15 animals born.
After you have the duck pond built, cast your fishing pole into it and you will get Yacht.
While you are doing this, buy the touch glove and use it on your chickens every day. You will at least get Kali for picking up an animal 50 times and Mouton for using the touch glove 50 times.
After your Chicken and Duck collecting, sell all but four chickens and ducks. You may have to wait until the chicks and ducklings mature. It's best to keep two chickens and two ducks that you've hatched because they start out with two hearts. Move the chicks to one bird shed and start having Gotz destroy them. Once the chicks have matured, sell them too and destroy the remaining shed. You will be left with one bird shed with two chickens and two ducks. Keep picking them up and using the touch glove and you will get Johnny and Brushy for picking them up 350 times and 900 times, respectively.
---There is a little divergence here---
» Most versions of HMDS can do this: http://www.fogu.com/hm6/chan4/sheep_trick.php?p=
and you can get away with having 1 sheep and just shearing him 100 times a day. You will get the same sprites and just skip ahead to the cow section.
» Most versions of HMDS also has the milker glitch. You increase the level of your milker by using it repeatedly. Once you have the experience bar full (located in the farm summary page), each time after you use the milker, the level of the milker raises. So before you use it on your livestock, it is a good idea to raise the milker to lvl 100. the best way to do this is by going inside (when time doesn't stop) and using the milker until you have very little stamina left. If you are interested in raising your farm degree, you can get witch princess presents by fainting so many times. For every witch princess present you keep in your bag one full day, your farm degree raises by one point. If you do this, keep in mind that your money is sometimes taken by the person who rescues you. So if you are able, buy 1.000.000 G and 10.000 G tickets to keep large amounts of your money safe. You can sell these for the same price as you bought it. Thanks to lmcarl for pointing this out.
» If you are playing later versions of HMDS or Cute, you cannot use the milker glitch or the shearing glitch. Each time the experience bar on the milker and shearer is full, you must raise the experience bar again to advance to another level. This makes getting high level milker and shearers more difficult but you are able to get more than one piece of wool each shearing.
The latest versions of HMDS and all versions of Cute should follow this:
After you have some room on your farm, start having Gotz build animal sheds for you. You can alternate building an animal shed and destroying a bird shed. Start buying sheep. Once you have 10 sheep (three barns), you will get Red Ribbon.
Use the touch glove and brush to (1) brush your animals, (2) pet your animals, and (3) talk to you animals every day. Once you've rescued the sprite with the highest numerical requirement, you can stop doing that activity to all of your animals. However, it is a good idea to identify a combination of four cows and sheep that you will want to keep and do all three tasks to those daily (besides milking and shearing) to raise its heart level.
Once you have built 6 animal sheds, and have 24 sheep, you will have sheared these sheep using the touch glove more than 700 times in a little less than 5 weeks. by doing this, you will get Betty, Chamy, and Ole for shearing 100, 300, and 700 pieces of wool, respectively.
Then sell all but one or two of your sheep and buy cows. In four weeks, you will have milked your cow more than 700 times using the touch glove and you will have gotten Sue, Magic, and Bali for collecting 100, 300, and 700 bottles, respectively.
In doing all of this, you will have shipped an incredible amount of produce and should have gotten Wooly, Laine, and Essa for shipping 300, 500, and 1000 animal products. You will also get Mars for shipping a single farm product. If you follow this and focus on animals, it will likely be eggs, wool, or milk.
One of the sprites requires shipping 100.000 of a single item. If you have a version that can get the milker to level 100, keep your cows for 6 weeks. If you are playing HMDS, and you milk your cows using a level 100 milker for 6 weeks, you will get more than 100.000 bottles of milk and you will unlock Pluto. In doing this, you will pass the requirements for Ridge, Ali, Cady, and Paddy (5000, 10.000, 30.000, and 50.000 items shipped in the shipping bin, respectively).
If you are playing Cute, you cannot use the milker glitch so unlocking Pluto and the sprites leading up to pluto can be a problem. One solution is to focus on one crop that regrows very quickly. My suggestion is to use yams, but green peppers is also a good idea. If you use either of these, you can start planting them your first year as they grow in the fall, giving you enough time to get enough money to buy large volumes of seeds. The area behind the waterfall is a great place to grow yams. That area should only shave off a few days of the initial growing time of crops, but for yams, it also reduces the regrow time, so they regrow every day. If you are able to buy enough medals to get the « Harvest Goddess » hand (in later years), if you plant yams all over the farmland by the waterfall, you will quickly harvest a few thousand yams a season. if you do this, be careful of you fatigue- it also gives you a reason to use the hot springs, which only rescues more sprites. If you can afford it, try to level up your crops by planting seeds twice. Near the end of each season, save a few dozen level 2 yams (or green peppers or whatever you choose) to turn them into seeds for the next season. then use these seeds to plant level 3 crops. you will earn more money by harvesting higher-level crops and they all count toward the 100.000 items required for Pluto. shipping the crops in the canner also gives you 50% more than shipping in the bin alone. Another tip for this, offered by Moon Drop 43, when you have enough money for basements, build them of a good-quality material so they are not destroyed in storms and grow your selected crop there year-round.
If you are interested in raising your farm degree, don't ship the small milk. Before you get cows, have the maker shed built and two makers: the canner and either the cheese or yoghurt maker. I recommend the cheese maker, especially if you are getting small milk from your cows. small yoghurt gives you 150G while small cheese gives you 300G. You get twice the profit by getting cheese over yoghurt and three time the profit by getting cheese over shipping milk (100G). Also keep in mind that by using the canner, you get one and a half times the shipping price. Once you get the 22-23 cows, use the maker to make the milk into cheese/yoghurt and then ship it using the canner. Every time you use a maker, you get farm degree points. If you use the yarn maker to make 99 yarn from 99 wool, you get 1 point toward your farm degree. But if you separate the yarn, you will get a point for every ball of yarn (or milk or butter or yoghurt) so you can get as many points as what you have the patience for, especially if you have a milker glitch.
If you've been using the touch glove daily, you will have gotten Boohoo, Canal, and Meow for using the touch glove 100, 300, and 500 times, respectively.
From washing your animals with the brush and touch glove, you will have gotten Beta, Aiylee, Pompom, and Zoo for using it 50, 100, 300, and 500 times, respectively.
You can get the mythic stone after you have blessed all 6 tools. Upgrading the watering can, sickle, and hoe are especially important in trying to find the next sprites. After you have done this, you can start the search for the three magic squares.
» save your game
» remove any weed, grass, branch, or stone on a field
» hoe all of the squares on that field
» water all the squares on that field
» if you get a sprite, reload and only sickle/hoe/water that area
» save if you get a sprite
» if you don't get a sprite, reload and move to another area
You will get Ceruleano, Eviran, and Owen for watering a secret designated square. These little guys will not be on your farm land and they are randomly generated when you start a new game.
To get more of the watering team faster, till up a large area like one by the mine. Every day, cut weeds and re-hoe it and then water it. This, in combination with watering your crops, will give you Chorori, Walter, Rainy, Joro, and Patty for 1000, 5000, 10.000, 30.000, and 50.000 watered squares, respectively.
Once you get 60 sprites, examine (A) the collection of pots west of Guts' stand in the Harvest Sprite Tree. You will get Baby. If you give this sprite 250 gifts, he will increase your medals or money. Baby supposedly likes the same things your own child likes.

There's no "cheat" to get the sprites. You'll unlock them by doing daily chores.
- Try hoeing the fields outside your farm and then watering them. You should find 3 more sprites that way.
- Buy 50 drinks in the bar to unlock Souly.
- Start hitting small rocks, you'll unlock Tilus, Stony and Rosh when you hit 500 stones.
- Hit big stones if you smash 15 of them you'll get Alpen and Rocky.
Theres tons more just like this, just browse this page:

Baby supposedly likes the same things your own child likes.

hey awesome job how many sprite do you have
