Is this game like BTN?

I heard that the same characters from BTN(or another HM game) are in FoMT
does that mean that FoMT has the same map and events and stuff from BTN

Yes, they are the same characters. The map is basicly the same, but it's flat and with a few differences here and there. I'm pretty sure of the events are different though.

Events are completely different, but some festivals are similar. I wouldn't say it's ENTIRELY like BTN though, they aren't that close.

While it's not entirely like BTN, I'd say they're quite close... They both have the exact same town (with a somewhat differently layout that ends up being better and more efficient on FoMT) and characters. I think FoMT ends up being better than BTN because of what it adds - but mainly because saving and loading between areas and different screens is much quicker on FoMT. The only things I miss from BTN are the greenhouse and fish pond, and some festivals - but FoMT more than makes up for those exemptions.

not the greenhouse, nothing will ever replace that,, that used to be the best way to make money, nothing beats a greenhouse full of pineapples growing yearround! i miss greenhouse:( not so much for fishing pond though

It's better than BTN 'cause you can do much more and even link to AWL. Downside is that you don't get a Tomato Festival or Swimming Festival which made BTN very fun, but you do get a Frisbee Toss Game, and a chance to marry the Harvest Goddess

i didn't even know about the harvest godess in BTN! sad, isn't it? how did you get that cows attention in BTN????

the bell might help....
the only differences r that the games r on differnt 'consoles' and the map is set out a bit differently...
