How do u knoe wut chapter ur on cuz this is confusing

It says it on your save file...it's the second line when you go to select a diary to save or load. "The Beginning" is the first chapter, "Happy Birthday" is the second chapter...etc.

The chapters are each different amounts of years. See this page for all the info on chapters you could need:

The first chapter only lasts one year (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Then the next chapter begins, the next Spring. However, time has passed between the two chapters, but you don't see it - so it looks like it's just gone from Winter to Spring, but really a year or so passes. The second chapter then lasts for two years, then the next chapter is three years, then the fourth chapter is two years, the fifth chapter is only one year, and the final chapter is one year. That gives you a total playing time of ten years, but since time has passed between the chapters that you don't get to play, really 30 years has gone by.

The "chapters" are basically just names given to certain periods of time. Hope that helps.
